Beekeeping Consultations & Lessons
Beekeeping offers a meaningful way to connect with nature and can be incredibly rewarding—but it also comes with challenges and requires a significant investment of time and money. To help you succeed, PachaMama Bees offers interactive, hands-on private lessons and consultation sessions that teach essential beekeeping skills. You'll learn to identify common colony issues and take effective steps to manage your hives—right in your own backyard, with your own bees.
Consultations
For those just getting started, to the seasoned beekeepers, our consultations offer customized sessions that address all your unique needs and questions. Whether you’re learning how to perform your first split, introducing a queen, setting up a hive for honey production, or trouble-shooting an issue, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Our rate is $90/hour, 2 hours minimum, plus a trip fee. Additional charges may apply for any incidental resources if used during the session.
Beginner Beekeeper Special
Jump start your beekeeping journey with our Beginner Beekeeper Special! This package includes three private, 1.5-2 hour lessons for just $400. Designed specifically for new beekeepers, the course covers all the essential knowledge and skills to get you started confidently. Each student also receives a PDF reference guide tailored to beekeeping in the Central and South-Central Texas region.
Beginner Equipment Package
Ready to begin but don’t have your own bees or gear yet? Our Beginner Equipment Package includes everything you need to start your beekeeping practice—carefully curated to provide the essential, top-quality tools. Hives and nucs are also available to order separately.

Hive Maintenance Services
